Letter of recommendation for Addison Pratt, [fascimile], May 14, 1843.

Facsimile of a Masonic letter of recommendation for Addison Pratt, issued by the Nauvoo Lodge just prior to Pratt's (and Noah Rogers') departure on a mission for the Mormon Church. The letter certifies that Pratt is a Master Mason in good standing of the Nauvoo Lodge. It is signed by Hyrum Smith (Master), Lucius N. Scovil (Senior Warden), Rogers (Junior Warden), and John A. Forgeus (Secretary Pro Tem). The letter was probably written by Forgeus.
